HISTORY: kilo is the big sister of january. kilo grew up with a natural talent for performing arts and a family that supported her every step of the way... until she was thirteen, when her parents divorced. the divorce split up kilo and jan, kilo going with their father and january with their mother. for a while, the siblings saw each other at school often, but kilo wanted to continue with her plays and other theater activities, but since their mom was the drama teacher at their school it made it hard. at kilo's request, their father sent her off to a boarding school for children of the arts. after that, kilo and january only saw each other during the holidays, and after she turned eighteen, the siblings didn't see each other at all. 
CURRENT: whether or not her acting career was successful is up to you. recently, kilo has come back to sleepy hallow to go into hiding after getting into bed with the wrong people, supernatural people. she's come to stay with her sister, who of course welcomed her back with open arms. kilo had no idea that january already knows about the supernatural world, or that tetra and ashton are part of it.

NAME: tetra knox

JOB: highschool english teacher
PERSONALITY: motherly. compassionate. stern. shy. quietly adventurous. hopeless romantic. always stands up for what she believes in.
HISTORY: tetra is the half sister of the dude below, and jan's best friend. tetra's mom is a mortal and her father is a wiccan, so she knows both the ins and outs of the supernatural and the natural world. jan and tetra have been best friends since they both were little, and when they were five, january promised tetra that she'd never leave her alone, and for the most of their lives that promise was kept. they went to elementary and high school together, then moved together to california for college. after college, they separated for only a year or so when tetra went back to sleepy hollow and jan stayed in california, though even then they talked almost every day. when jan was shot and nearly died, tetra was listed as the emergency contact, and it was she and ashton who flew out to california to see her, and then bring her safely home. 
CURRENT: she still is an english teacher in sleepy hallow and still jan's best friend in the whole world. most of everything going on personally in her life is up to you. maybe she's got some boy drama? maybe she's in some trouble? all up to you.

NAME: ashton knox

PERSONALITY: secretive. charming. kind. kind of a player. lonely. smart. dark. complicated. intense. generous. brave. cocky.
HISTORY: the big brother of the sister above, ahston has been in an on and off relationship with jan since they were teenagers. he never knew his mother growing up, since she died at childbirth, but has learned to think of tetra's mom as his own since she married ashton's dad when ash was only three. most of his back story is up to you, other than the fact that jan was kind of always a part of his life in one way or another. they dated in high school and traded in their v-cards, but he broke up with her once he went to college. they were just on and off again since, hooking up for a while but never really committing to one another. when tetra got the call that january was severely injured, ash insisted on coming with. what no one else knows is that she was far worse off than anyone thought, and likely wouldn't have recovered . it's only because of ash and his magic that january actually survived (or maybe she did die, briefly, and he brought her back, up to you). ashton was the one to convince her job to fire her, and get jan a new job back in sleepy hollow where she'll be safe (or so he thinks) and happy. 
CURRENT: ash has not told anyone about his involvement in saving january's life, or that he finally realized how in love with her he actually is. currently, they stick to being friends and kind of just flirt a bit. i'm thinking maybe he might have some other dark secret hiding behind him that he doesn't tell anyone about, something dark that's following him around? up to you, though, and how you want to do it.
