Andrea, Meeting, JACKSON CRANE lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – This sucks <3 words - 790ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Working as a Bartender has its perks because she can basically make her own drink without having to pay, at least if her supervisor doesn’t find out, though Andrea would care less. If she wanted a drink, nobody was going to stop her from getting one, but she isn’t a heavy drinker, though she is not a stranger to alcohol. Drinking and smoking are pretty much the only two things to keep her in check, otherwise she would be a complete wreck, and by wreck, she would be unemotional, rude, or irritable, at least more often than she was now. The only reason whys he drinks was because she was a hunter, and being a hunter means a lot more than what an average person may believe in because she doesn’t hunt ducks in the marsh or deer in the forest. Andrea hunts the things that go underneath your bed at night, or drags you into a back alley to drain you of your blood.
The job of being a hunter was stressful enough, but the lifestyle was also a killer because she never truly settles down. Maybe, she will be in New York for a few months before picking up and leaving to the next state when she catches ear of monster activity. Andrea comes to states where supernatural activity are off the charts, which is good enough reason for a lot of hunters to show up, but to her surprise she would be lucky to see just one hunter. Although, there are many places where supernatural activity maybe high, though New York was just the closes to her because she would want to drive or fly all the way to California just to find out the issue had been solved already. Besides, hunters are that heavily communicated with other hunters, maybe if they are a family with close friends may know ahead of time, but mostly hunters are on their own.
Andrea has been on her own for almost all her life, especially when she was Colombia, she was raised by her parents, but pretty much she did her own thing. She never knew her family were hunters until she moved to America, where life literally turned upside down. Andrea’s uncle, Ramon, taught her the arts of the hunt, but he did it in steps, like making her finish school, taking gymnastics, and self0defence classes. Andrea was a trained hunter before she even found out that there was such thing as the supernatural world, and the only thing she needed to complete her training was to know how to shoot a gun, which is what she is known best for.
Truthfully, Andrea enjoys hunting, what she doesn’t enjoy is to live her life alone, fearing that someday a vampire or something would come in the night and kill her lover. Andrea wants to be able to protect those she loves, but she can’t do that if being there with them puts them in danger. All the more reason why she has had many flings in her life, though one in particular she has had multiple run ins with and he was a hunter just like her. Jackson Crane, an interesting man he was, Andrea wasn’t much into him, but every time she sees him she would remember that he never called her back the first time they were together. Most of Andrea’s flings end in a good note, but Jackson wasn’t that type of fling because usually the guys would call Andrea the next day, and she would pick up, though eventually she would ‘break up’ with them. Jackson, broke up with Andrea before she could even do it to him because he never picked up the phone to call her, which kind of hurt her pride a bit.
Every time she spent the night with Jackson, she would pray she would never see him again, or at least hope to never see him again. Although, it’s like the universe is against her because she would eventually see that man again, and later she finds herself in a motel bed with him. Andrea smiled as a customer came forth, though really she didn’t want to smile, though her supervisor would bitch about her smug looks,” What can I get ya?” the customer responded,” Can I get, Jameson on the rocks.” Andrea replied,” Comin on up.” The huntress turned from the bar to prepare the man’s drink, hoping no one else comes up to bother her.

we're just having fun we don't care who sees. so what. we go out, that's how its supposed to be. living young and wild and free.
hunters weren’t supposed to have relationships. doing so often put loved ones in danger. a prime example was alexandra, his own sister, who had been turned into a vampire in order to take a jab and jackson and his family. mission accomplished; it was eating him up alive. it was for that reason he’d chosen to cut all ties with chloe van tassel the last time he’d departed sleepy hollow. only a few days after he’d proposed to her, the reality of his future had come to life. how foolish he had been to think he could be happy and live like the rest of society. if he truly loved chloe, as he did, then he knew it would be better for them to be apart than together. and with that, he left her high and dry, without so much as a proper goodbye. he was sure she hated him but hate meant she was at least alive.
hunting was lonely. he'd spent much time on the road and in cramped hotel rooms with only his brother to share his company with. and while he loved matty, he often desired some female company. for the greater good, he'd tried to put thoughts of chloe behind him and instead, focused on the here and now. he was no stranger to one night stands or casual flings, having had many of them throughout the years. and now, being alone once more, they'd started up again. most recently, he'd become acquainted with a feisty woman name andrea, a fellow hunter.
to be honest, jackson had a hard time dealing with women in the hunting profession. it wasn't that he was chauvinistic or felt superior but rather that he cared for them. they didn't deserve the pain and hurt and terrible conditions of this life, but andrea seemed to have her shit mostly together. and while her involvement bothered him, he recognized her as a skilled hunter and let her be. aside from his not-so-subtle hints for her to do something better with her life, he knew there was nothing he could do to change her. when you were a hunter, you were a hunter. if it wasn't in your blood through your family, something else most likely brought you in. and no matter how hard people tried, there was no getting out. he used matty as a prime example of that. the poor guy deserved the world and instead, he was always riding up shotgun with jax.
a strong whiskey and a few good beers had become a nightly routine for jackson, what with the current events of his life and all. he'd spent a good number of hours trying to get to the bottom of this horseman business with matthew but had gotten little work done. he refused to let his brother in on the secrets of their fathers journal...the ones that claimed one day, he'd have to put his brother down. that was unacceptable and bringing that to light seemed pointless. after most of the day had been wasted and the incessant burning of his scar, he left his brother for a bit. luckily enough for him, the bar was within walking distance.
jax brushed through the entrance, heading straight for the bar without acknowledging anyone else in the bar. as he took a seat, he parted his wallet to withdraw some cash, throwing it on the counter for when the bartender chose to serve him. he noted she was helping another, a smirk edging over his lips as he laid eyes on her. andrea. well wasn't this a coincidence? through what little talking they often did, he'd managed to decipher she worked as a bartender when she wasn't hunting nasty things...though he guessed he'd never asked which bar. not that it mattered; they met when she wasn't working.
when she finally turner her attention to him, he merely offered a cocky wave, his grin spreading. he liked her company, but mostly because he knew it was casual. he assumed they had a mutual understanding on what they were but his problem was in the assumption. "santiago." he offered her a greeting with a nod. "don't you look real pretty behind that bar." he commented, he commented with a wink.

Andrea, Meeting, JACKSON CRANE lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – This sucks <3 words - 630ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Andrea began fixing up the man’s drink that was pretty much the man’s usual every time he walks himself into the bar, though Andrea has never even had the desire to strike up a conversation with the man. He is always dressed in a suit and tie, though he looked as if he was roughened up every time he comes to the bar, Andrea’s guess would be a bad day at work. A business man coming to a low-end bar, something must be really off with him if he doesn’t go to a country club or something, Andrea wouldn’t know because she has never had money. Also what struck Andrea as interesting was the ring planted on his ring finger, a sign that his love belongs to another, a man or a woman, though now and days you can’t be too sure. The hunter fixed up the man’s drink and turned towards him a polite smile on her face as she hands him the drink,” Hopes this ease ya up,” the man snorted a bit and took the drink and walked off to a sit. Andrea didn’t know whether to take that as a rude gesture or his way of agreeing with her, but either way she doesn’t want to risk her staying at the bar as an employee, the boss already hates her enough.
Andrea was just about to throw in the towel until her body grew tense and irritation began to settle with just the voice one man. She doesn’t know why the universe continues time after to time to make her life hard and just so annoying because how and the hell can you have a fling with the same person, over and over again. Usually when Andrea has herself a fling, she doesn’t call, they call her and she breaks it off and she moves onto the next, though Jackson was a different story because the asswhole never called her back. Now call it pride, but Andrea wanted to be the one to break things off, she wanted to have control, and she wanted to be the side that wasn’t hurt. Honestly, the first time he didn’t call her didn’t make difference to Andrea, though when it became the fourth go around, she felt more and more aggravated, like how did she become the one being played?
Andrea turned around to see Jackson smiling at her with his cocky grin that only wanted to make the Colombian born smack him across the face. Andrea rolled her eyes at Jackson,” That line is getting kind of old, Hawk, I expect better.” Andrea said as she walked her way over to Jackson,” What you want?” Andrea quickly followed up before Jax could have something slick to say,” And let it be something on this bar’s menu, okay?” Andrea said as a harmless warning because she knows better than to believe Jax wouldn’t take advantage of the situation she placed herself in. Playing hard to get was the hunter’s specialty and she doesn’t mind spending time with Jax, especially when he isn’t always in her hair talking about relationsip goals or marriage, honestly she appreciates that they are causal. Although, what she doesn’t appreciate is having the short end of the stick, and not calling her so she deliver the bad news. Truthfully, him not calling doesn’t mean much to Andrea because she just wants to have a reason to be petty with him, otherwise everything was fine. “So? Are you ordering anything?”
