THERE IS DARKNESS IN HER LIFE, BUT SHE IS LIGHT.
Sleepy Hollows was just one of those places, a place where a lot of people seemed to dwell, even if it was a small blimp on the map. Alexandra had only come here to collect supplies, and then she would disappear. But this town reminded her of her past, made her face it and reflect upon it, and it made her wish that she was back in California, back with the group of Wiccans and Callum. During the time that she had been staying with the group of Wiccans in California, she had gotten to know the human that called himself Callum, and during that time she had fallen deeply and madly for him. Of course, she never admitted it to him; too afraid that if she did Demetri would come back into her life and take her away, putting Callum in danger….Callum and her heart. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, to herself and others, she had given her heart to Callum during their time together, and there was no getting it back. Of course, she had left her heart with him back in California when she had fled and now that he was back to her life, a part of her didn’t want to let him go, no matter how much he didn’t trust her or hated her.
Only a few days prior had she ran into a fellow Wiccan by the name of Arwen in the local bar and during that time she had told her what she was and she was exactly like her, she felt a calling help the young Wiccan even if she had yet to discover her own true potential. She had fled before she learned her full potently though she never saw what she was truly capable of. Nor did she really want to see. She didn’t want to become like her coven, greedy and bloodthirsty for power and that was one of the reason’s she had fled, that and because they had killed her mother and father right before her eyes. And because she was only a teenager, she had yet to learn all her magic, she knew a little witchcraft, the basic stuff, but that was it. And over time she had just stopped using her ability altogether, because if she did use it she feared that either Demetri would find her or Callum would find out before she was ready to tell him.
She found herself going for a walk, moving towards the woods that were close to her, a sudden chill filled the air and as she glanced behind her, she noticed something. Something that she wished was not there. She swallowed, and without a sudden movement, she watched as it drew closer. She watched as it drew closer and when it hissed at her, her eyes widened. It drew closer, snapping its teeth at her, fangs shining in the night. A vampire, she knew what it was. And with a quick motion, she sent him flying, and she didn’t care about the consequences or if he had actually been hurt from her powers, she spun on her heels and took off running through the forest.
It wasn’t long before she was panting, and in that moment, she knew she was no match for the creature that currently chased her. She knew it was toying with her, vampires were faster than humans and witches alike. And with that thought in mind, something ran into her, sending her flying on her own and slamming into the ground. A cry left her lips, pain shooting through her. The vampire hissed at her, smirking in triumph as her chest moved up and down. Once again, she used her power and sent him flying, but he was ready for it this time and drew closer to her after catching his footing. The feeling of his nails tapping against her neck as he picked her up in a strong grip, choking her and drawing blood from his nails. Tears welled up in her eyes, she gasped for breath.
