Demi, Meeting, @open lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – <3 words - 700ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Brann’s return was no coincidence because it has been centuries since Dimitra has seen the vampire, or even heard of his ancient name. They were lovers once upon a time, she was in love with both him and his brother, Elrik, though Demi wanted to love them both, but Brann wanted her to choose. Elrik was more reasonable than Demi because he genuinely had feelings for the other vampire, mostly because of her innocence as a human that appealed to him. Elrik really wanted to know who Dimitra Vladtrova was and why she was living in England, rather than her native home in Bulgaria. Brann didn’t care for her feelings, at least not to the extent of Elrik because Brann just wanted to enough that would get him through the door. Honestly, she was attracted to Brann because he knew of her culture, more specifically her language, while Elrik didn’t, then Brann promised to help her mend the wounds between her and her family.
Although, it turns out Brann was a bit to enthrall with Demi as it more obsessive than anything because he didn’t want her going anywhere without him or even doing anything without his say so. Demi was pretty much an object when it came to Brann, and Demi had too much respect for herself to put up with his shit, whether he was helping her or not. When she broke things off with Brann she saw him for who he truly was, and it scared her. Brann tried to kill because he told her if he couldn’t have her, then nobody else shall learn to love Demi, but before he could strike her, Elrik came in swiftly, and held off his brother, telling Demi to take off.
Demi did not hesitate to take off and survive off of her own, and on the way she had many people who became either friend or foe, though it wasn’t until she became a vampire did things become a lot easier for her. For a while, she had kept a low profile as she was trying to keep herself out of the open and away from the eyes an dears of Brann, though it did not occur to her that she had a mole in her own system. Sadly, Demi had to find out about a traitor from one of her contacts who followed him into a forests one night, but to only realize he was meeting with Brann.
When Demi found that out she left out of her home, which is shared with the witch, Eve, and bounded for the forest knowing exactly who it was that had betrayed her. Demi left out of her home with an expressionless look he as only murder was on her thoughts. She was going to kill the man who gave way her position to the only person she has ever feared in the world because Brann is a lot stronger than she was probably by six hundred years or more. After she had dealt with the traitor she was going to have to pick up and pack up for another place to live, though she figured staying in Virginia would be her best bet to survive because she does have the help of some witches.
Demi arrived to the forest looking for the mole, luckily for her he was a human, so she was feeling rather hungry tonight, though before she kills him she would want to know where Brann is and what he wanted. Though, Demi had a pretty good idea to why he was in Virginia. When the scent of a mortal graced her nose she sped towards it with her inhuman speed, and the human was too slow to react when Demi grabbed him by the neck and pinned him to a tree, her fangs bared and hissing at the mortal,” Im going to enjoy killing you, and there isn’t anyone to stop me.” Demi threatened as she gripped tightly around the human’s neck.

poison in my lungs Alcohol stung the back of the hunter's throat as he leaned on his motorcycle, out in the boonies it seemed chasing after some vigilante vampire that thought they were slick on killing off pedestrians and not getting the brunt of authority always seemed to be the game with Dante these days. Besides Jackson, Dante had a thing against the supernatural. Because he lost enough to the creatures that belonged in fiction rather than in reality. Maybe then certain people he cared for would still be alive.
Well Dante wasn't the type of guy to let certain things go, you see. He had been doing detective work of his own. Trying to find the vampire that not only killed his parents during his time away, but his best friend and crush. It was a blow that Dante would take to his grave along with however many bloodsuckers he'd take along with him. That was the big answer to why he was here now, to get his job over with, get paid, and go home. But knowing him he'd run into some bad luck that he couldn't get out of. Which only resulted in Dante hating his life more.
Taking another sip of his drink he sighed when nothing of abnormality came up, giving a quick glance to his wrist watch he had noticed it was half past midnight. "Well this is a real stickler." He grumbled before finishing off his drink only to hear a "manly" scream from not so far. Rolling his blue eyes, he chucked the bottle of bourbon to the side and pulled out his pistol. Fully equipped with wooden bullets. He made his way forward, before aiming the gun at the head of the female. Before tilting it to the left slightly and pulled the trigger, shooting her arm that was holding the mortal to cause her to release the mortal. "Alcohol may be in my system, but that doesn't mean you can go around eating people on my watch you bloodsucker. So if you kindly die... i'd like to be done with my job now thanks." He jeered, distaste was rotting on his mouth for these creatures.
How dare they exist and decide that the world was their oyster, that they could do, be, kill whoever/whatever they wanted. It was sickening to think that these creatures didn't have a right or wrong button. Just a button that told them to eat or not, yes that is how Dante saw her. How he saw all vampires. Nothing more then bloodsucking mosquitoes that needed to be squashed. Whereas his fellow hunter Matthew would protest that not all vampires were like that, he just would't have it and Jackson had to explain to Matt why Dante was so hard headed. Why he hated vampires so much, guess it got through to him because that was the last Dante heard Matt talk about vampires as if they were people.
The barrel of his gun was trained upon the female as he kept his ground, sure. The alcohol was making him slightly fuzzy but that didn't keep him from doing what he had to do. Protect the living. Boots crunched in the leaves and dirt as he moved forward, he was determined to save the mortal. "You hand over the fleshie nice and easy or i'll make sure the next bullet goes straight through a fang. Just because i can't see it don't mean i don't know where to shoot to know where the bullet exits your mouth. Let him go." oh hai ♡

Demi, Meeting, DANTE SULLIVAN lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – <3 words - 680ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Dimitra was about to snap the mortal’s neck, but the burning sensation that pierced her arm caused her to immediately drop the mortal. Dimitra hissed in pain as she arched her back cursing into the air, but she quickly pulled herself together and ripped the wooden stake out of her arm, then turned around to face the hunter, squeezing the wooden weapon tightly in her grip. Dimitra huffed and puffed in anger as she was about to reap her revenge, though she was stopped by someone trying to be the hero, which pisses the vampire even more off. A smirk etched at herlip as she retorted the mortal,” I could say the same about you, but my job isn’t being someone’s hero, and for your information, I wasn’t going to eat him, more like kill him for treason.” Dimitra said as a small snarl escaped her throat as she warned the human behind her,” I wouldn’t move John, I could kill you faster than that hunter could pull that trigger.” The human only laid still, though he spat on the ground near Dimitra,” I hope Brann kills you…” A laughed escaped Dimitra’s lips,” No thanks to you, idiot.”
Dimitra returned her attention back on the hunter, who was testing her patience and mood, though she wouldn’t mind killing him. Dimitra taunted the hunter,” Now what’s got a pretty face like yours so worked up?” Dimitra continued,” This has nothing to do with you, just go back to the bar and drink your life to waste, assuming you are already heading in that direction.” Honestly, Demi doesn’t care for the lives of mortals, especially hunters, but she is doing her best to fly low on the radar, so that means not killing humans and leaving their bodies that will sooner or later catch up to her, and the last thing she needs are hunters at her doorstep, or Brann.
Why do hunters have the mentality that they have to save everyone because just face it, people are going to die one way or another, so saving someone will nobody any good because all you are doing is buying them time before death comes knocking at their door again. Dimitra has dodged death multiple times and not once did a hunter come to her rescue, especially when she was human, nobody came to her rescue, nobody stopped her father from kicking her out the house. The way Dimitra sees it, saving people is just buying time for the inevitable to happen, death is natural, and the human behind her was going to die one way or another, and Dimitra would like to hasten his time on Earth, betraying her to the enemy. Dimitra will not let some simple hunter get in her way from her goal, she will not let a hunter stop her from surviving, and she sure as hell will not let a hunter be the reason for her death because she has come too far to just die by a wooden bullet to the heart or brain.
Dimitra looked between the human and the hunter just to chuckle at the one holding the weapon,” I think the fleshie will stay with me, we have some unfinished business to attend to,” Dimitra continued,” Oooh, sounds like a threat, but only if I was really scared would I take you seriously,” Dimitra’s fangs slowly slid into view as she snarled at the mortal,” Come and get him, bitch.” Dimitra said as threw the stake with all her might, shooting like a comet towards the hunter, though she only shot the stake at the mortal for him to move because as soon as she threw it she moved with blinding speed to smack the hunter with the back of her hand, a hiss escaping her throat,” How’d that feel mortal? Did it sting?”
